Acapulco, acapulquito

A month ago, I was invited by a friend to Acapulco. I was really unsure about going or not, because the invitation was for me, but not for my kids. When my eldest daughter arrived home I told her about the idea of going to Acapulco and she immediately started looking for beach stuff for me. Then I thought that my kids can take care by themselves and that this invitation was only for a week and not for a month, so it didn’t sound bad at all. The next day I called my friend and I accepted, I would never regret of this decision; it was one of my best vacations experience. We stayed at the Grand Mayan which belongs to Mayanresorts and it was just unbelievable. I never imagine how wonderful it would be, I just have heard very nice comments of every mayanresorts in Mexico, but this time I confirm everything. We were like 10 persons in a master suite so as we can avoid spending thousands of pesos in meals, we rather preferred to buy stuff at a supermarket that was near the hotel so we can cook every day; we were like a battalion. Mayanresorts has an amazing pool area; if I enjoyed it imagine my friend’s children. The hotel was huge, full of beautiful gardens, many restaurants, lakes, rivers and of course a great beach. The first day we couldn’t spend time outdoors because it was raining so there was high tide because of a hurricane that it was trying to approximate to Acapulco. Fortunately this just last for a day and the rest of the week we did many activities at mayanresorts, for example we participated in almost every activity at the pool, we went to the “quebrada”, we took pictures everywhere, we ate like pigs, we got a great tan which I never thought I’ll get because I’m whiter than Casper. I really had a great time at mayanresorts in Acapulco; I missed my kids, but thanks God everything goes fine while I was soaking by the

MayanResorts: I wanna go back there!

I spent my last vacations at Mayan Palace of MayanResorts located in Puerto Vallarta. What a great experience, not only because I was accompanied by my couple but also because of the astounding facilities we found there. There are 2 MayanResorts in the same region, we stayed in Puerto Vallarta, but there is also another one at Nuevo Vallarta which is like 20 minutes far away. I heard that MayanResorts at Puerto Vallarta it’s simpler and modest, but anyway we loved it, luxury stills there but in a different way than in the other resorts that MayanResorts has.

Every morning we woke up, we took a shower and then we went for breakfast at the Cafe de Lago enjoying a scrumptious buffet. We ate as if we have never eaten in our lives and then we went for a stroll around MayanResorts admiring the nature that surround us, looking how young and old people have fun at the pool area, the snack bar, at the beach, etc. After that relaxing stroll, we saw a couple rowing a kayak so we decided to try it too. It was very funny, all the time we thought we were going to fell into the lake or that we were going to get very close to the fountain, which was prohibited, but everything was fine. We saw beautiful birds flying all over the lake, we continue rowing, we got a little bit wet, and we continue rowing and the kayaking ends. I really have good memories of it. Noticing that we were kind of wet we walked toward the MayanResorts pool area and we had dip in there. Wow! There’s nothing better than being in the pool under the sun and then, as a miracle, find a bar area inside of it. And if this is not enough, it was the happy hour, oh yes, the happy hour sir =)…so as you can imagine we drink as many cocktails as our bodies allow us to drink…hahahha, everything was fine, we didn’t get drunk, mmm, well…just a little bit happy because it was the happy hour!…hahaha, we were so happy that we were forgetting that we have to eat something, so we tried to get dry and went to eat to a very nice restaurant that is near the pool area. Unfortunately we were still wet, so the waiter gave us, in a very kindly way, a table outdoors, so while we ate something delicious we were getting dryer and dryer.  Then it was like 6 or 7, so we went for a walk to know every part of MayanResorts and ‘what a surprise’, we were witnesses of the most gorgeous sunset you can imagine, it was perfect for a picture, but after a soaked day, you will be agree with me that carrying a camera would be very risky.

Well, this is just one day at MayanResorts and I stayed a week, so imagine the rest!

The Real Origin of Mayanresorts Cuisine

It is a little bit surprising to know that India, being a nation of sheer vastness and rich complexity defines its cuisine at its best and elusive level. There is no doubt that the Indians are masters with herbs and spices with the great ability to blend ultimate combinations that are tailored to each and every dish that they prepare and serve. This is the very nature of the chefs hired by the Mayanresorts. They prepare only the best and elusive dishes to match the taste buds and taste requirements of their visitors who came all the way from their country to try and experience the mouthwatering dishes offered to them at Mayanresorts.
Mayanresorts, whose concept originated from India, has mastered and perfected the dishes they serve. Not only that! With the belief in the Ayurvedic philosophy, the knowledge and expertise in cooking can never be compared to anything else. Mayanresorts chefs have combined the expertise of the Northerners, Southerners, the tropical south and even the India’s ubiquitous curry. These dishes may be different in taste, in nature but the principle behind each and every dish is the same – the Vedas principle.
The visitors of Mayanresorts will find that crossing the state lines between their country and Mayanresorts means crossing the culinary lines in its supreme level for the country where Mayanresorts originated is such a glorious riot of multiplicity and diversity. Here are some of the cities and regions in India that make up the totality of the fine cuisine offered at Mayanresorts:
1.    Delhi – now considered as a city rather than a region. The city’s history, sufferings and experiences with different rulers can be identified in its local cuisine. Wait till you taste in Mayanresorts its cake and high tea that started way back from the Raj era.
2.    Kashmir – mentioning the name of this region, you will certainly look for its breathtaking landscape but don’t you worry because the beauty of Kashmir can be seen in Mayanresorts and of course, its dishes that include the sweetest rice and finest bakers of the region.
3.    West Bengal – Mayanresorts inherited the Bengalis sweet tooth for the delicious and sweet delicacies offered in the resort.
4.    Andhra Pradesh – Try Mayanresorts’s rice and lentils – kitchri fusioned with mango pickle, pappadums and kheema curry that originated from this wealthy and fabulous Nizam of Hyderabad.
5.    Maharashtra – This is where Mayanresorts’s wheat and rice cuisine came from. Do not ever miss the Alphoso mangoes – Mayanresorts’s delicacy exclusively prepared for mango lovers.
If you have tried and loved the above dishes from the different regions and cities of India, there is no doubt that you will love them more when they are specially prepared for you by the highly trained chefs hired by the Mayanresorts. The dishes already have their natural distinction as they came from distinct cities and regions but Mayanresorts, through the Ayurvedic practice, has made them more distinct and unique.
